Default Canadians abroad: January 4-10, 2013

    Guidelines for this thread

    • In this thread post match updates on all Canadians abroad for January 4-10, 2013.

    • If you find updates posted in some other thread or on the other Voyageurs forum then post them here as well, but be sure to credit the original poster.

    • If there is news that is particularly significant (eg. someone scores a big goal, someone gets injured, etc.) then feel free to begin a new thread on that topic in order to draw greater attention or start a discussion, but also post that news here.

    • Some comments on news posted in this thread are okay, but let's not let this thread go off into a long discussion. If the news already appears in another thread (as per the previous bullet) then post your comments in that other thread, otherwise if you want to say something significant or if it is likely to generate replies then begin a new thread.

I'm not sure if this news should be here or maybe in MOACA. Anyway Patrick Majcher had been move from U21 (youth ekstraklasa) to the first team of Slask Wroclaw.

    Also in England

League One - Iain Hume plays 90 for Doncaster Rovers in a 1-0 win over Colchester.
FA Cup - David Edgar comes on at the 46th minute, they lose 1-0 to Barnsley.

Keeping an eye out for Gyorio to crack the lineup at Fleetwood, he didn't make an appearance on the bench today as yet.

Goal today from Sim was quality. Good first touch between two defenders then a quick toe tap to lift it over the keeper.

The opposition isn't quality, though, unfortunately.

Wonder what the future holds for Simeon. Might be preferable to see him lead the Championship in scoring to playing a bit role in the BPL, but I'm not sure, really.

Nîmes Olympiques lost 2 to 3 to Lille in the Coupe de France.
Al-Shaibani seems to have stayed on the bench.

All signs coming out of Norwich is that he may be shipped this January.

I'd be very suprised if Simeon could lead the Championship in scoring, even on a fairly dominant team.
