don't be too bothered, the place was over capacity and the Seattle coach was demanding that nobody be allowed behind he teams' eighteen yard box, and the fourth official actually had stadium security enforce it. People had to leave because they actually couldn't see the game.

how good a team is it? (sorry to put you on the spot with a value judgement, I am NOT looking to argue with people, despite the buzz words)

How do you think this team would fair on the CSL table? My ignorant guess (never seen them play) is being a very good PDL side they might not be in the current top 5 but for sure the next pack of 4? Better? Worse? I know it's a hard call (because it's different league) but I'm curious to know how good these guys are.

I only recognize Hemming on the wikipedia page, is he a standout? And which Canadian lads are playing well in general?

FCL also have Haworth from the recent OQ's. If I had to guess based on what I've seen of FCL's play this season, I'd expect a top 3 finish in the CSL table. They're probably about as good as TFC Academy on an average day, but as they don't have the MLS backing or extensive history of clubs like TorCro and SWE, they're more prone to off-days.

Hilarious. I guess Sounders' coach Darren Sawatzky was traumatized by his experiences of the Vancouver Southsiders behind the goal at Swangard.

I'm surprised the coach got his way on that because there is a perimeter fence all the way around the field of play at the German Club. Traditionally that has been a requirement in London, Ont.'s top amateur division so that crowds of 1000+ can be dealt with when there is a title decider or cup final that draws an unusually large crowd. Maybe American PDL teams are more used to a high school football stadium type format where the fans are only down the sidelines.

I thought Sounders Women and PDL played at their secondary stadium where the MLS side play Open Cup matches?

Either way, it was ridiculous, and a lot of people were quite upset. The interesting thing to see was the additional bleachers set up by FCL. If they had planned a little bit better, they could've put in a few more of the bleechers behind the Seattle goal and then there'd be nothing to say about it. Would've increased capacity to about 2,000 as well.
