Good News... Probably a really positive move.
Good News... Probably a really positive move.
They had a great champion league run last year..hopefully Klukowski can get regular minutes and they go on another run. I can think of worse places to be a professional soccer players than Cyprus.
APOEL's in the Europa League this year, which is still a good competition for him to be in. They won their first leg of the second round tie, 2-0 last night.
Considering everything, I really like the move. Cypriot football seems to be in a relatively prosperous state right now although I have no idea where the money is coming from. Interesting to note that last year's champions, AEL Limassol, didn't have a single Cypriot in their starting XI against Linfield in the Champions League this week.
He'll probably get paid and he'll definitely get played; this is better than nothing.

Chuckle ... that's why I didn't finish it ... I have a feeling that at Panama I will be playing Dad (appropriate due to our relative ages) and picking up the pieces.
Sorry, back on topic.
I think the APOEL move could prove to be very good. They are a club that continues to surprise, year after year. Hope he does get a reasonable amount of playing time, impresses and wins a starting role. Would be great for him and us.
Consider me unimpressed by this move. Was hoping he could have landed back on a mid-table club in Belgium.
