Default Mother of All Defective Albertans Abroad List

    - I see Caolan Lavery signed on with Sheffield Wednesday:

Former Blues youngster Caolan Lavery is joining newly-promoted Championship side Sheffield Wednesday. The 19-year-old Northern Ireland U21 international had been without a club since turning down a short-term contract with Town at the end of his extended Academy scholarship in October.

    - And OH is apparently still a wanker:

    Any updates on Begovic?

Depressing that so many of our defectors come from Alberta.

Let's not forget Dani Fernandes, he is now at FC Twente

Begovic signed a contract with Stoke in December which keeps him there til 2016

Must admit that living in Alberta as a newbie, Kinda doesn't make one feel that inclined to become overtly canadian.
But thats possibly due to the 'welcoming nature' of the Immigration process, rather than the intergrating with the Populace, who in the whole are teriffic!

Personally I would tell my own kids hat If they pull a National shirt at any Level, then that's them for life. No switching sides. It totally defeats the object.

Hey it is not our fault if the British education system didn't teach you how to write well enough to pass an english proficiency test!

Not an Albertan (neither is Dani Fernandes), but former TFC Academy man and fake-Portuguese Int'l Ricardo Ferreira is now on loan to Serie B side Empoli from AC Milan. Not bad for a 20 yr old.

He has played 1 match so far in which he went 90.

    Hmmm.............
A survey published by Southeast NB food banks says close to 60% of clients were not born in Canada
I wonder if they cheer for Canada?

I enjoy when this thread is bumped and reading its title.
