You must be in the Voyageurs Plus usergroup to write a blog. If you have not met the criteria yet (150 posts) email me and I will bump you up.

Groups

We will experiment with groups now too. Regional coordination, team conversations that can be private to keep the trolling down, tifo group ect...

Again you need to be in the Voyageurs Plus usergroup to create a social group. If you are not there, and want to start something email me and I will bump you up.

If you start a group, and are being a goof, well... guess what you won't run the group anymore.

What's New vs New Posts

With the recent upgrade, What's New became and activity stream. This will make more sense when there are blogs, comments, groups, albums and photo galleries happening.

I created a New Posts tab in the nav bar to replicate what What's New used to do.

Forum Side Bar

Currently it looks weird because there are no blog entries and no groups. It is collapsible.

You can now at your caps in user profile. It's a little cumbersome, hopefully these will become entities in their own right when a future version of this has custom content types.

I think I will convert What's New back to the original functionality, and leave the activity stream as subnav.

I just don't get the activity stream thing. I could see ways it could be useful if it were restructured on a site with loads of variety in active content types and activities.

I think something was change in the way threads are displayed. There used to be a small button that would take you to the very last posting. Now that is gone. This forces one to having to scroll down the last page of posts to get to the end. Am I missing something?
