I wasnt aware of that or must have missed that story. Anyways, after reading your post, i checked and yes, the link above indeed lists him on the roster. Wow, we now know that in the past two or three years we have really turned a corner in this country and we are seeing it with players getting recruited to good schools in the US. Unlike the past, we now have players at places like Akron, Maryland, UConn,NC Charlotte..etc. it doesnt get better than that. In the past, canadians in the NCAA were mostly at "non Div 1".schools or schools ranked outside the top fifty.

Akron and Maryland standout as reputable college soccer programs.
Who is at Maryland? Parker Seymour transferred to Michigan State after his freshman year at Maryland due to lack of playing time. Jay Chapman will also be at Michigan State.

They are two years younger (95s). They should be mainstays for the 2015 U20s.

hamilton is the only carry over from that u17 team

I'm excited about this team, we need to start lobbying NOW for sportsnet coverage. There's no reason these games shouldn't be shown at home. Anyone know anything about these Portuguese kids? I saw a video of the kid at leira ... Didn't look to be anything special.

Cordon, camargo, Henry, Alderson, piette, stanese give us a good base to work with... Let's hope the coaching is better this time around if you look back the last team wasn't bad

The 2011 team had some lower level NCAA guys and terrible coaching. This team is really deep by Canadian standards. Hopefully a few more of these guys become pros before the tournament next year.

This article confirms Chapman, but makes no mention of Seymour:

off topic but somewhat related, does anyone know why Toronto isn't in the USSDA league while the other two canadian academies are? Isn't it a bit of a no brainer that it would make sense to join or am I missing something?

Toronto decided it will be better to play in CSL (men semi-pro league in Ontario/Quebec) than bunch of kids teams in the states. So far, TFC has been having success.
