    Default NBA likely ending Olympic Participation

    They want it to become a U23 tournament.

    Of course it's about money. NBA owners and players all want money for olympic participation and it's not forthcoming. So now it looks like they will partner with FIBA to put the focus on the World Championship (rebranded to FIBA World Cup) and extort revenues from that tournament.
