Attendance was about 60 on this hot day but fortunately it was mostly
overcast so it wasn't as hot as it could have been. This was the
only game Lady Lynx has scheduled at this facility. Centennial
Stadium has its own problems but this place didn't have the cables
ready to plug into the scoreboard until a techie could be found to
bring the cable and another monitor box to get things going by
the second half.

One more late chance were at 84 minutes when TLL Jade Kovacevic
crossed from 20 yards near the right end line had TLL Shanoska
Young hit a 7 yard shot off the right post.

Jennifer Arstikaitis led an all female officiating crew. She gave
out no cards on what was a wide open game. The players spent more
time watching the assistants to time their runs to avoid offside
calls.

Sabrina D'Angelo wasn't the Lady Lynx goalie today and not on the
bench neither. She was the back-up goalie on the Canadian
National team in their exhibition game against China last month
because Sabrina LeBlanc was recovering from injury.

This was an important win for the Lady Lynx who had lost twice
last weekend on a road trip to Quebec to play Laval and the
Amirals. They climb back to second place in the division but
have played one or two more games then each of the next three
teams persuing them including the Amirals.
