Default June 16th - 3 Canadian Team Results

Montreal opens the refurb'd Saputo stadium with a resounding 4-1 ass kicking over Seattle (thank you very much!).

Vancouver scores the only goal while down a man (played last 30 minutes with 10 and still won).

    TFC drop to KC 0-2.

No 9 point weekend for Canuck teams but 2 very impressive results for totally different reasons.

The Chiumiento pass on the Le Toux goal was fantastic. I didn't see the entire Montreal game, but I did see their first goal which was set up by great work from Bernier, and he also assisted two other goals. I'd like to see him keep that form leading up to Canada's September matches.

Yeah, if Bernier can round into form consistently, then I would like to see him as an option coming off the bench.

Bernier was on fire tonight. He's got to make it into the CMNT squad this fall.

And, while I realize this is the MLS thread, completeness obliges me to add that FC Edmonton lost an ugly-as-**** game in Fort Lauderdale 1-0.

Bernier looked brilliant on his first and third assists. Shows a lot of attacking flair which never comes to mind when I think of him.

Le Toux made up big time for missing a couple gifts earlier in the game.

and props to Cannon, Bonjour and the Woodwork who stood on there heads to earn the Caps 3 points
