One of the Colorado goalkeepers is New Brunswick's Dayle Colpitts. Their roster is a little soft compared to the Caps but they have a couple of quality players including Brittany Bock, Kendall Johnson, Danielle Foxhoven and Lindsey Horan.
"After a surprising defeat on the road at Victoria Highlanders FC to open the season, Vancouver Whitecaps FC are excited to kick off the home portion of their W-League schedule with a match against Western Conference rivals Colorado Rush at McLeod Athletic Park in Langley on Friday - hosted by Langley United Youth Soccer Association. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. PT.
Whitecaps FC went 1W-1D-0L against the Rush last season, winning 3-0 on May 27 in Chilliwack and drawing 0-0 on June 19 in Denver. Against teams from Denver, Vancouver are 15W-1L-6D all-time and 10W-0L-1D at home."

Let's hope they play high quality soccer enough to prepare the players for the Female Olympic Tourney,so it doesn't end up as the "world cup" in Germany last year etc...
Did they have a schedule change? The game is on FRIDAY........

Whitecaps FC women play home opener at McLeod Athletic Park on Friday slight Typo
Have the Caps women ever been 0-2 out of the gate? With the Sounders on deck 0-3 is a distinct possibility. The Caps were content to sit middle of the road between "going for it" in women's soccer and sitting back and being a community team like all the other Canadian teams except the Fury. A tough season will lead them to reevaluate their positioning. Being in red ink on the L column is never great for the brand.
It really is a shame the Caps and Co-op can't play in the "Canadian" division.
