Ugh! I've already got that first sinking feeling. You know that feeling from 2004 when Carlos Ruiz scored in the first minute at Swangard. Or 4 years ago when Onstad punched it in the net. With Hutch and Simpson I'm feeling it before the games have even begun.

    Lets not overreact here.

Sunday really doesn't matter, it's gonna be fun as ****, we want to win bad, but it doesn't matter who plays or the result.

Hutch can play v Cuba and Honduras, the other guy practiced today. We're OK!

Without Simpson it sucks, but I believe (and I think we all should believe) that we still have enough quality to succeed without him this round. Deep breath gents!

^ Is Hutch 100% gonna play against Cuba? Cause if so I agree this isn't too big of a deal.

"While Hart wouldn’t name names, it’s clear that midfielder Atiba Hutchinson was the one who didn’t train. He was in running shoes and watched Canada’s Friday session.

The veteran midfielder, however, didn’t seem to be in any difficulty and was in good spirits around the group."

That's what's in the MLS article

Hutch is a great player, but he just seems to be made of glass in recent years. I'm trying to think, when was the last time he was with the MNT and didn't get hurt?

Hutch is the glue for this team. We can overcome Simpson but take Hutch out for WCQ and we're toast. Gold cup anyone?

We're not toast without one player, Hutchinson is great but really when has he ever stepped up in a big game? We just need certain players to step up... Occean, De Rosario, Jackson and De Guzman come to mind as guys who could.

I think guys who fly under the radar could be huge... guys such as Johnson and Hainault, both don't receive the hype that some other players do but it wouldn't surprise me if they were two of our better players this round.

We're not toast with one guy out, but with Simpson and Hutch out that's two of our top guys. Let's hope Hutch is ok.

Haven't checked in here in a bit - who got called up to replace Simpson?

I don't remember either. He's always the one who "picks up a knock" but really isn't surprising since he looks to be about buck 10. Not a whole lotta meat on those bones
