492-danny-k-1.jpgAre you a player under 19 living in the GTA or a little beyond and you’d like to be seen by Arsenal of the English Premier League ? The CSL’s York Region Shooters are being visited by Arsenal’s North American scout in April and a program has been arranged to provide an opportunity for youth players to be seen by Danny Karbassiyoon, who scouts for the London-based 13-time English League champions, also known as the Gunners. U.S.-born Karbassiyoon, who signed for Arsenal back in 2003 and played also for English League clubs Ipswich Town (on loan from Arsenal) and Burnley in an injury-plagued career, is now a coach with Richmond Strikers, the largest soccer club in Virginia.

The York Region Shooters Arsenal ID camp will be held Friday April 13th and Saturday April 14th.

Cost is $500 for non-Shooters players, $250 for Shooters players.
