^ Really? I thought Cordon was okay in the middle, but, mind you out of position, was really struggling at right back. seemed to give the ball away every time he had possesion. I think he needs to get stronger like Stinson appears to have (could be our man Bearcat!).

Saw nothing in the majority of young players, but Chapman seemed better after the goal which seemed to get the jitters out of him. Although I wish we had seen more of Vukovic. I can only assume that he didn't show much in training or was hurt since Winter played the trialist Orozco much more. Orozco didn't show me anything other than the goal. Huezo and Burgos were okay, but seemed prone to lapses in concentration.

I thought, from what I watched, that the "kids" of TFC played well against the "men" from Vancouver. Dont loose site of this....comments like " I did not see much from the "kids"" are a bit harsh....a "mens" team at this level should have walked all over them. In reality you should not have seen anything from the kids and they should have been spanked.....

Good Job TFC "Academy"....Vancouver has some work to do.....

We'll see how TFC does against LA Galaxy when they will surely play their men rather than their boys.

Agreed about Cordon at RB: was out to sea positionally when defending.

I haven't seen any of the other preseason matches so I can't judge Stinson but I really liked his athletic potential from last year. I just want to see how his technical skills under pressure have improved (that's why I thought he might be better served as a wingback/RB, but it looks like the club has been using him in the midfield three this preseason). But in the ball winning role he just needs to do that element of his job consistently and simply get the ball to the holding mid partner who serves as the distribution hub (be it JDG or Frings).

Like you, I'm still holding out for that ball winning horse in our MNT midfield!

Sorry, absolutely right JimmyJames. Did not mean my post to come across as critical of the kids at all. My meaning was none of the kids really jumped out at me. TFC appears to be doing all the right things, at least where player development is concerned.
