Believe it or not, I was actually at the Norwich game today (visiting family in Norwich). Simeon played really well in the first half before being subbed, and I must admit, I was surprised that they took him off. He was getting hacked a fair amount, so perhaps he picked up a knock. He was providing some great crosses and was generally getting under the skin of the Man U defenders.

In general, Norwich deserved at least a draw and were unlucky to lose in injury time.

Hopefully I'll have more to report on Simeon as I'll be heading to Stoke for the away match next weekend, followed by the Wigan match at home the week after.

Sounds like a great time! Hope you bring a huge Canadian flag to support our boy Simeon over there!

Hoilett did'nt really get much time on the ball but Blackburn in general were overrun for the whole game, but it was encouraging to see that Hoilett dug in and worked hard on the defensive end, many games he has been pretty weak defensively so it was nice to see him work hard on that end of the pitch.

Furth--Bochum highlights.. looked like Occean scored at 3:40 with a backheel but wasn't credited?! I dunno. He doesn't act like it was him. Well, what's rather interesting is Bochum's jersey .. if you know what I mean. <wink>

Wasn't really a backheel but more of a deflection. The announcers say it hits Occean but was credited to the shooter. Not quite sure I agree with that since the keeper probably would have had it if not for the deflection but it does not look like an intended redirection by Occean, it just happened to hit him. However, if the same happened at the other end an own goal would be called on the player who deflected it so not sure why Occean did not get credit for the goal here.

Newspapers in Italy suggest he had a great game rated 6 to 6.5. He was a big factor in the tie on many good saves late in the game. Hope this is permanent now and he will get more starts......

Radzinski played in his first game with Waasland-Beveren in a 2-0 win. He started and played 73 minutes. He linked up well with his Lierse striking partner Jurgen Cavens and he even struck one on the crossbar. Waasland is well in the fight for a place in the promotion playoff.
