    Default Question on Canadasoccer.com

Is the canadasoccer.com website in a state of flux? I can't seem to get any details on players, games etc. Get "server error" on almost any selection. Just switched recently to using Chrome as my browser if that is relevant.

Same thing for me, nothing seems to work on the CSA website. It's been frustrating since the players stats were pretty good in the old site and easy to search.

Actually the even older site while visually bad was a treasure trove of game reports etc. Those seemed to disappear entirely a couple of years ago and were replaced by the gametracker stats which are cumbersome to go through. Anyway, glad to hear I am not missing out due to some technical error on my part.

Have you guys emailed Richard Scott yet? I *think* he's the one that mainly looks after the site, but someone please correct me if the CSA has someone else as webmaster.

It's not Richard Scott - I think it might be Michele Dion or Sandra Gage.

The site has undergone a few changes in the last few years but it is only the most recent one, a few months ago, that has completely obliterated all the match reports and player data. I hope the database is not gone, but merely that there is some error preventing it from being accessed correctly.

Still, it's something they're hopefully aware of and the amount of time it's not been working is unacceptable.

With all the publicity from the women qualifying for London then the jersey unveiling and the USA game, it's a complete and utter joke is what it is. Great way to get more fans csa congrats on another job well done

Its now a terrible site. I dont know what happened but its seem like what is supposed to be an upgrade is turning out to look like a downgrade. I can sometimes understand organizations wanting to upgrade their website but sometimes its gets rediculous and turns out to be a change for sake of change. Its not a better site now than it was before, it harder navigate around and find what your looking for. News releases are not readily apparent, obvious or standout. I was looking for an old news release last week of the players invited to the Olympic camp. But i couldnt find it. Before, all you had to do was scroll down to the date or approximate date of the release.

I dont know what the CSA was thinking on this one. I can see changing if you introduce new features and technologies but if we were to go from a site like the current one over to what it was before, we would hail the massive improvements.

I have to giggle a bit at cramming all the sponsors down at the bottom of the homepage. That's a no-no. Edit: actually now that I look at a few other teams pages it seems pretty standard. Little different for NPO's I suppose.

I think the splash page is actually an improvement from what they used to have, but it appears they don't have the necessary content backing it up.
