Haven't heard anything, but as much as I like him, it would not be a useful signing. Evan Bush is doing great, and I am beginning to think he could make the jump to MLS as a backup.
Is Greg Sutton a new montreal Goaltender? Rumors say that he has been traded to Montreal. Anyone heard of this news?

Yes Bush was a bit shaky at the start of the year but he has been solid since Gaudette has been injured. I don't think Sutton is an upgrade on Bush or Gaudette for that matter and at his age has less potential so what would be the purpose of bringing him in now? Of course what is the purpose of many of the moves of NDS so you never know.
I suppose he could be another veteran to lead the younger players, but at this point, I think that nearly everybody will be gone in a few months.
It is being reported on Twitter that Sutton will be coming to Montreal, and that the Red Bulls should be making the announcement soon.
This only makes sense if they are releasing Gaudete
I think it has more to do with the fact that Gaudette may be more seriously injured then previously thought..
And if something were to happen to Bush we would be stuck with 16-17 yr old goalies from the academy to be the starter.
Crepeau (on the academy team) is only seventeen years old but he really looked great playing for the U17 team. The signing of Greg Sutton is great move because they can bring Crepeau along slowly and now they have two goal keepers who are canadian heading into MLS. Sutton hás MLS experience só he wont hurt you even though he is not spectacular while Creapeau can get his feet wet in MLS.
Goalkeeping looks set for Montreal, great move.
1) you have two canadians on the roster
2) you have the young guy with tons of promise learning from the veteran rather getting thrown to the wolves
