    (this may be a silly question) Does anyone know who's paying for the team to train in Rome? Is it all coming from the CSA?

    If you mean is there a sugardaddy sponsoring the club as Greg Kerfoot did in years gone by, I do not believe so.

    Restricted funds that come from Sports Canada (performance based) and the COC (Own The Podium). Just for the OTP they get $1.75M ($100K goes to coaching and admin) for the 11-12 cycle with probably more to come when they qualify for London

    These are the usual funding sources for CSA, the point is there is no extraordinary source of funding as there has been in the past.
