There is no reason we should be calling Dunfield either way. With Saiko, Di Chiara and Bernier hopefully coming back from injury I don't see how Hart can justify calling Dunfield if all mids are healthy. I'd honestly rather see Peters or Stalteri in Dunfield's position.

Great news! Glad to see him start in such a competitive league. And not a moment too soon, we need some new blood at CM. De Guzman is on the wrong side of 30, as is Bernier. Dunfield and Johnson are good, hardworking players but have limited skill sets. Hopefully DiChiara, Saiko, Matt Lam and Oscar Cordon can get a call up this qualifying cycle.

Saiko an exciting prospect but not playing at a level that inspires confidence in me that he'll get us over the Panama-esque-sized hump we have in front of us. As for Lam....not been following him in Japan. Cordon....not even in TFC first team.....

    Highlights for 1st half

I added two goals to this video, because Joseph's role in them is a matter to watch and discuss. Goalkeeper, of course is the main person to blame.
Head coach, by the way, said during press-conference, that Joseph did well, and there's no his fault in these goals. The shooting players should have been covered by other player of our team. But still, i'll let you decide.

Thanks for that Uno. I think on the second goal we have no way of seeing who should have been covering the opponent with the ball in that clip, though the goalie should probably have had that shot. On the first goal Joseph is covering for the winger who lost his man and was not able to close down in time. Again, the goalie should have probably had that shot. He generally looks comfortable on the ball and makes nice, safe passes, but the odd time he seems to lead the player he is passing to a little too far. He made a couple of good tackles and disprupted well for the most part. The more he plays, the more he should improve.

    Agreed
Hard to believe that was his first pro start, he was getting stuck in, had a go, nice little back heel, couple nicely sprayed balls...

This kid has a really bright future if he stays on course. He reminded me of Dejan Jakovic with Atiba Hutchinson's size.

How do we get Uno a Voyageurs T shirt....seems awfully well deserved to me and I'm willing to pick up the tab. This may be a strategy we have to rely upon for the CSA to get our best crop of players!

That's actually a really great idea, and I'm surprised I haven't seen that suggested before, for all the other potential Canadian players. Showing the players that the fans care even before they suit up for Canada can't hurt; perhaps the fence-sitters would feel more appreciated, and those already committed to Canada would only feel more justified about their commitment.

oh, i'd be honoured to wear this t-shirt, but I believe the price of the shipment to Russia will bite, lol ))

This Sunday we're having last game against Spartak Nalchik who's on the last place in the table. So this is going to be an extremely improtant game. After that game summer break starts and the team will play next game on 25th of July against CSKA.
I really hope Joseph can hold his first-team place after the summer break, but i predict it will be very hard thing to do, because of the rumours that we're signing 3 more experienced players (they say there's even 2006 World Champion).

Message to Tony Fonseca regarding Joseph performance sent, let's hope for a call-up. (BTW when Canada will play next international game ?)

I also sent a letter to the press-officer of our club, and they ready provide CSA with all video of Joseph they need.

The ball is on CSA's side now, I guess
