I see that there are tickets available for the final match at categories 1 and 2. Category 3 is said to be 'temporaily unavailable". Does that mean that the will wait and put the cheaper tickets on sale at the last moment after they have sold as many of the top priced tickets as they can?
Also, the top ticket price for the final is 200 euros. How does that compare with the top price for the men's cup in S. Africa?
I'm kicking myself that I didn't buy tickets a couple days earlier. FIFA has temporarily closed all ticket sales until January 20, whereupon they'll open for what is apparently a random draw that will take place after February 20. I can list my preference for Canadian games, but it's unlikely I'll get them (and I may very well miss out on the opener against Germany).
As well as myself, I'd have 3-4 others that would be keen on buying tickets - is there any way to get tickets from CSA or Voyageurs? Two of our party would be flying from Canada, so that's a couple more for a flight out of Montreal....
Bah! It turns out that my son's school goes to the end of July and they are extremely strict about truancy (even levying fines). I've applied for the two possible QF matches and the third place match since these are the only ones I could possibly get to and back on a weekend.
In other news, he collected Panini stickers for the WC 2010 and he was asking if they would be doing it for the WWC so that he could have Canadians in his book.
So I've got 4 tickets for both group A QF matches. Assuming Canada advances, I should have no trouble getting rid of the other set (since they would most likely be for Germany.
I am taking my family to the games in Berlin and Bochum. Is anyone else going to these games or would there be any info about how I might be able to have my daughters meet some players if there are events planned?
Got my tickets in the mail yesterday!! W00t!
