Default June 22 - Group B - South Korea vs. Nigeria

A Nigeria win and a Greek loss puts the Nigerians through as 2nd place. A South Korean win or a draw and a Greek draw or loss puts them through.

Imagine if the score stays as is in KOR-NIG and Greece manages to score two late goals against Arg ( who are safe and sound going through to the next round and playing their subs) .

It would mean that S. Korea is eliminated and Greece advances even though S. Korea won against all the teams in their group including Greece. This scenario would be the best case you make for going to head to head matches as the first tie breaker.

PS>; The score was 2-1 for Kor when I posted

YAY! South Korea looked pretty good going forward, but they have some defensive issues. That miss was TRAGIC and the penalty could've been avoided by getting the ball away faster. I don't think the Korean defender meant to take down the Nigerian... he was trying to boot the ball away and the Nigerian got in between him and the ball.

I was a little worried when Korea subbed off an attacker for a defensive mid... they look better going forward than trying to defend a lead. I would've preferred them to keep the pressure on Nigeria rather than try to nurse a 2-1 game home for 20 minutes... Still, they did enough when nearly everyone had them behind both Nigeria and Greece to make it out of the group.
