Default Red Nation Speaks with Massih Wassey

Red Nation Online recently had the opportunity to speak with Massih Wassey, a young midfielder who plays with Schalke 04 II in Germany. Massih was recently called up by Canada for the first time for the National Team’s first friendly of 2010 against Jamaica.

Good stuff. We could certainly use players with a good shot, if that is indeed one of this strengths.

I really hope we can get some stream for the Jamaica game - it will be very interesting to see how some of these younger players play. It sounds like the kid plays with a bit of flair

I'm just curious, but how is this guy eligible to play for us? If I read the article correctly neither of his parents are canadian and he has never lived in Canada?

I look forward to seeing him on the pitch in all the choppy internet stream glory that we'll be treated to. I'm interesting in seeing where on the pitch Hart will try him at.
