BTW, McLeod is in 3rd place in the goalkeeper standings, despite being on the Damallsvenska's last place team, Dalsjöfors. After 9 matches, Erin has held a shutout 3 times and has a save% of 86% (59 shots saved - 10 goals against). Prior to her arrival the other two Dalsjöfors keepers had save% of 60% and 54% and had allowed a combined 48 goals in 12 games.

By way of comparison, in 16 matches Stephanie Labbe has had 5 shutouts but only has a save% of 77% (72 shots saved - 21 goals against). Piteå had two Nigerian national team players anchoring their defense... but one incured a foot injured in game 3. That might be a clarification, though... who knows.

Dalsjöfors GoIF, the Swedish club where Melissa Tancredi and Erin McLeod play, has declared bankruptcy, and folded part-way through the 2012 season.

The club was traditionally a second-division side, but were promoted to the top-flight Damallsvenskan for the 2011 season. They finished last, and were relegated back to the second tier for 2012. All of the players had "proper" jobs on the side, except for Tancredi and McLeod, who were full professionals.

Emily Zurrer also played for the club during the 2011 season in the top-flight.
