I could make it. The only concern i have is that it is the last game of the group stage and might not mean anything...
Anyone tempted by the idea of travelling to Cancun at the end of October? If there are travel agents out there, it would be interesting to see what kind of package could be put together for travelling supporters of the Impact, Canada's rep. in the CCL.
Tuesday, October 28 – IMPACT @ Atlante FC – @ Mexico – 10 pm
Expedia tells me flights are about $796 from Montreal, $571 from Toronto, $557 from Vancouver. Can the agents get a better price? Not cheap, but far enough away on the calendar people might be able to save up a bit, have a couple of days off, etc. By no means an easy sell, still, would be an amazing experience for any that went.

I promised that I wouldn't mention it again, but some Vs found it useful:
My sister works for Sunwing and they fly to Cancun from many different Canadian cities. Their website does have the occassional sale or clearance, but you can also have a Sunwing employee register you (just name and e-mail address) for the "friends and family" version of the website and book at a discount. I think the amount of discount varies between 10-50%. They specialize in one-week all-inclusive resort packages, but also do airfare-only and car rentals. If somebody here decides to plan this trip and likes Sunwing, then let me know if you want me to pass on your info to my sister to get the discount. Full disclosure: my sis would make a small commission from each ticket bought as that is the incentive they get to encourage sales.
Because I want Canada to keep its' spot in this tournament, I am routing for Montreal all the way, but as a TFC fan I have to rule myself out of this trip!![]()
May come in useful, thanks.quote:Originally posted by KAS
