    From the Article:
    quote:
For his part, brother Jonathan plies his trade with Feyenoord and has opted to defend the colours of his adopted Netherlands at the Olympic Football Tournament Beijing 2008. "For now, he's very focused on the Netherlands, but he could still change his mind in the future as to who he'd like to play senior football for..."[De Guzman said]
I guess we already knew this was the case, but it's just weird to hear JDG say it.

    Anyways, nice article.

Wait a minute, isnt he playing in Beijing? Hes already 21 right? Doesn't that make him ineligible to play for us once hes played for the Dutch? The semi round wont be over until November, which is after the olympics. I remember someone saying that when Jacob Lensky played for us in the qualifiers in March that hes locked in for Canada.

JDG2's 21st b-day is in September so the clock is ticking.... although needless to say I'm not holding my breath.

definitely an odd comment. in recent interviews, julian has only supported and justified jonos decision. now its
"he could still change his mind"? why the change?

Like i said on the RPB board, I'm not looking into it too much.
Although if he did play we'd have the best midfield in CONCACAF, but he's still a sell out...
What to do, what to do...
