    Default Notre Dame's Lapira to Aberdeen...or TFC?

    According to BBC's Rumour Page:

    Toronto are vying with Aberdeen for the signature of NCAA striker Joseph Lapira.

    Lapira has appeared for Ireland as an amateur, and aside from the NCAA Fighting Irish, was a member of the USL's Baton Rouge Capitals. He has been on trial at Aberdeen.

    He was selected by TFC in the third round of the 2008 MLS Superdraft.
