"This is our house" chant origins

I'd never heard THIS IS OUR HOUSE chanted at games before I heard TFC doing it, is this an original? Just curious.

I think it was actually stolen from the Raptors game. I think it is used all over North America for basketball. There are a lot of TFC fans that are also Raptor fans (myself included).

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure it simply carried over from the Raptors.

I think you're right, it's carried over from the Raptors. "Our House"
is an American term mainly in football, but the same term is commonly
used in high school and college basketball in the U.S.

I'm not sure where it came from, but the first time I heard it at a TFC game was immediately after Mo Edu scored the 3rd TFC goal in Toronto's first ever win.

It was fitting then, but it's been painfully overused since then.

I'm pretty sure the phrase was coined for TFC at the first trip to Columbus. At least that was the first time I heard it. I think your right in that it's a bit overused at BMO Field, but ya gotta love when you hear it on TV during away games.

Was wondering because I heard it in the youtube video of the US u-17s when they beat Brazil all their fans were singing it.
