What an ending. The first portuguese knew what he was doing, he snapped, he was going for the red. The second one is a bit stupid for doing that kind of stuff for a clear red card to his teammate.

As for Vidal, I have no sympathy. Maybe now, he'll learn not to time waste so excessively, especially when he's on a yellow.

Funny, Chile is one side I have not seen, and they sound good. Indeed they have sounded good since qualifying, feisty and talented. Would have liked to have watched but for some reason on that channel they had summer league basketball.
Zequinha was the player who spat on the Mexican as well.
Coentrao should have at least got a yellow as well for holding the ref's arm down as he attempted to give Mano the red card.

Good on the ref from this game though for not taking any of these two team's crap.
Chile is not the cleanest team and dives a lot but I was still happy to see them school the even dirtier and far less talented Portugese. Portugal didn't play any better against Chile than we did. If it wasn't for their keeper it would have been at least 3-0. At the end Portugal showed what a complete lack of class they have. Vitoria really showed a team in keeping with his own lack of character. Why the hell were they protesting so much what was a clear and obvious red card to Mano. Seeing Zequinha crying as he got sent off was priceless.
after watching chile again, I feel less anguished about canada's loss against them on the field and in the stands
