Am going to try to get up at 5 Am to watch this live, hope my wife doesn't catch me.

Too bad Brazil screwed up so much as now one of the more talented teams will not be in quarters, which is a shame.

A shame for Spain. Not much of a reward for winning your group. For the fans however, this is brilliant! Before the tourn. started I thought this might be a semi or final matchup, but bought my ticket thinking Spain would probably win this group and then face some so so team. Brazil has so far underachieved playing in a tough group, but I think they could still win it all. If only we had a 20k-30k stadium. I can't wait for this game to get going and on one of the hottest days of the year. Should be an instant classic.

Nice too the stadium should be mostly neutral fans, small Brazil and Spain contingents. So I think it is going to be a crowd there for the soccer, think that is fantastic really.

I'll be going to this game tonight with my brothers, and can't wait to see it. Not sure who I'll cheer for, probably the Spanish because they will dive less frequently.

At the end of US vs. Uruguay, it was stated that this game would be joined live in progress!!! I'm not suggesting that The National should be pre-empted (though it happens all the time with hockey), but CBC are showing once again that they don't quite know how to handle the details of soccer (in this case, extra time) properly.

Another example: all of tomorrow's repeats and then the first live game on Country Canada are scheduled to run back-to-back with only two hours set aside per game, so what's going to happen to those games with extra time/PKs?

CBC Vancouver has it from the start. It seems everywhere else will join it in progress.

Telelatino has it from the start as well.

For me it's on live on regular, but not on HD.

Wow, after a slow start, it's 2-1 Brazil. Spain was lucky, that looked like a handball to me.

Spain has just won it 4-2. They could have had two more in the last few minutes if they'd moved the ball around instead of having a 3 on 1 and a 4 on 1 and the ball carrier trying to go all the way.

That aside, a fine performance by Spain!
