Pellerud Selects Roster for First Camp of ‘06

Ottawa, Ontario – Canada’s Women’s National Team Head Coach, Even Pellerud, has released the names of the 16 women that will attend the team’s first training camp of the New Year. The camp will run from January 10-17 in Vancouver, BC.

They should do well there but i was wondering why kara lang's name was not on the list?

Lang is in Mexico for the CONCACAF U-20 Qualifying Tournament, which starts tomorrow.

Ok thank you i did not know that i knew there team was going but i did not see the roster yet. do you think they stand a chance?

We are the 2nd ranked team in CONCACAF and it would be a major disappointment if Canada didn't finish in the top 3. (The top 3 move on to the U-20 World Championship.)

yes it would be a disappointment if we did not rank top 3. alot of people have been saying they have a chance for first?

Well canada started off to a good start 7-1 victory. Hopefully they will keep this up!
