Jim Brennan starts and plays the whole match as Norwich lose 1-0 away to Everton. My guess, from the BBC match report, is that he played on the backline.

According to 3rddegree.net (FC Dallas fansite) Winston Marshall has yet to report to training camp which is in its second day. Apparently he's considering staying in school to finish his education.

Ok I know there isn't supposed to be much discussion on this thread but during this game Angel missed two penalties (!!!) and Andy Cole missed one also. Amazing stuff

Considering this comes after qualifying for Holland, I wonder if he thinks that if he has a good tournament he might get a more attractive pro offer, especially with tons of European scouts at the World Youth's. While committing right now with Dallas for something less than a pittance would block that chance for him.

Except that he's too old for this year's tournament. He was with the squad in the UAE. As for why he hasn't shown yet; who knows, maybe he has some stuff in the works overseas. If I remember correctly on his first interview on Soccercentral in the "impress the MLS" section, he mentioned being good friends with Atiba Hutchinson so maybe he's lining something up in Sweden for a little more cash.

Aris played the 2nd leg of their Greek Cup tie vs. Ethnikos. Kappos did not play.

    Same Score Qualification

Giorgos Chatzaras' team had a hard time but eventually claimed victory and qualified to the quarterfinals of the Greek Cup. Aris defeated Ethnikos with 1-2 in Kesariani and in combination to the 2-1 of the first match they qualified to the next round. On the other hand, Ethnikos really tried to win and qualify, in fact they even had the lead for a while, but Aris' immediate answer and clever play did not allow them to qualify after all. The home team opened the score at the 49' with de Soouza, Nebegleras tied the match at the 58' and Kuemaha scored the victorious goal during the extra time. Aris will play versus Kalamaria in the round of 8.
