Goal posts help keep the score down in a match that was entirely dominated by the bigred team.

The goals were all brilliant finishes with Belanger heading in the first off Maranda's corner,
Jamani when she collected the ball and made two quick moves on her first goal,
Lang who drilled a no doubt about it bullet in the corner from the spot and finally

the goal of the match when Robinson received one fine pass only to better it with a stadium stunning move to set up Jamani's second. A highlight play that I am sure we will see on a Sportnet report over and over.

It must be noted on the first goal it was Jamani who made a never give up effort to recover the ball from the Jamaican defence.
She fought off all Jamaican protection and forced the defender into clearing the ball over the goaline.

400 people? That's all? I thought the future of soccer in this country was women's soccer?

And you have it on good authority that Jamiaca and the DR are at approximately the same level?

one thing is almost certain ... hitting goal posts against against an inferior team is a sign of trouble ...

    FIFA WOMEN'S RANKING

    Jamaica # 73
    Dominican Republic # 99

if we take from this senior team ranking, the odds look good that the jamaica u19s is probably the stronger team ...
