goal scorers: sinclair (2), jamani and hooper
nonen did not play, she's sick
Sinclair always scores in an easy win but never when we desperatly need a goal to tie or win a game.
I would call in sick too. Any word in the cover-up about Timko's absence? Did any of the unused subs got to play?quote:Originally posted by Elaine

That's pretty harsh considering she's the one who scored againstquote:Originally posted by Christian B.

Germany in WWC. In some games she's in midfield, not exactly for
scoring reasons. Christine's game is different from Latham, which
your comment is more attributable, in my opinion.
Even if I'm not a huge fan of the women's game I will never forget the goal that Sinclair missed in the final of the U-19 WWC against the USA.quote:Originally posted by redhat

Since then I always noticed that she tends to score more than her just share of goals in wins of 7-0, 8-0, 9-0 but most of the time she's absent of the scoreboard in thight games. IF I'm wrong statistically, I'll be glad to present my excuses and I'll be sorry for the bad impression that I have.
Jamani gets only 1 to finish second in scoring to Mexico's Dominguez.....not bad for a rookie 16 year old.

Ya she reminds me of Baggio missing the net on in the World Cup
Christian, If you want to know what Sinclair is capable of, look up information on the University of Portland's soccer championship in 2002. That miss in Edmonton was a killer, but to suggest that it is a reflection of a general inability to finish in crucial or tight situations is misguided.
