The reason why the Storm are doing so horrendous is because lack of leadership from management to players. Let's face it, as long as the ownership issue is [u]NOT</u> resolved quickly, we are definitely expecting more-and-more of these embarrassing defeats. I just hope once the Calgary Stampede show is over by Sunday that both the league and the new ownership get together and solve the problem by the end of July.

I'm going to stick my neck out a little here on a guess but I'm wondeing how many men Calgary finished the match with. Five goals against in the last half hour? Guessing nine, maybe ten. (okay, eleven tops!!!)

I've always found ownership woes to be a cop-out of sorts. How would it affect the product on the field, exactly? Would a player say to himself: "I don't feel like performing because I'm not sure who will own the team"? I don't buy it. The Ottawa Senators proved this year that the ownership issue is in fact a non-issue.

With exception of the Ottawa Senators, most clubs who suffer ownership crisis would always feel the uncertainty on the field. What’s really happening here is a crisis of moral within the ranks. A solid ownership offers a strong leadership that builds a stable certainty for the future of the organization. These players are going through the worst moments of insecurity such as: Will I have job here next year??? How long am I expected to stay here, and get pay for it??? Would I get my last and final pay cheque from the club???, etc…

No problem. Well this result calls for a stunning 2-1 victory over Vancouver on Friday night for the Storm's elusive 5th win.

This is a load of horse crap. Vancouver was in the same situation last season, and made it's way to the league semi-final. It's up to the players to perform to the top of their capabilities. If the situation is so bad in Calgary why wouldn't the players go out and play well if not only to showcase their talents to other teams.
