That's a pretty valid point actually. Like I said, the problem will be with the stigma of match fixing. It may be better for a bunch of the remaining teams to join L10 and leave the CSL just...

Still the league has lost what, 5 teams in a few weeks? I doubt that those are the last teams to leave. The tarnish of match fixing is hard to get off and many people won't want to be associated...
Did you want to get in touch sometime before the June 2nd game?
You have my contact info on my order tonight. 6 tickets in 115 for Rob S....
I got my 6 tickets. Can't wait for this game.
I think its very important for the NASL to have teams in at least Calgary and Hamilton. For the economics of the game there has to be rivals closer to Ottawa and Edmonton to play against and build...
I always feel the opposite. The V's Cup is the game I look forward to most of all for TFC. Winning the Cup actually means something.
I'm a Chartered Accountant and have served on a NPO boards. I'd be happy to volunteer an help organize this part of the group if you want. PM me and we can talk.
Will you sell them before March 22nd?
Nana re-signing with San Jose is now confirmed. It's good to have him back out of Finnish D2.

While the team is looking pretty terrible they really have done a lot to clean up the brutal budget situation. Getting rid of Frings & Hassli from the budget plus all the trades has really opened up...
Let's see what he gets back. Maybe we have to eat some of Hassli's salary (say $100k) in allocation but we do free up an international spot and a DP spot. The other thing is that we can still buy...
This would be a really good move for Nana and Canada. We have to realize at some point that MLS is better than most European leagues outside the Top 5 leagues. I'll be happy to see this happen.
You highlights the problem with not having a league that's going to give kids U18 to U23 consistent playing time. We desperately need a U23 focused fully professional league to get our guys higher...
It looks like Bennett will be 24 for the entire season. That being said, if he's just coming into MLS now he's only 2 or 3 years from his peak.
Hopefully he can contribute at the wing position...
It's too bad that Plata is not with the team. He would double the # of wingers on our team.
Actually a I wonder how Plata-Silva-Bekker would look as attacking midfielders together in a 4-2-3-1.
In fact Ashton was thought to be potentially a top 10 pick if he wasn't intending or thought to intend to sign in Europe. The last Ives mock had him at #9. If he does sign then he's a great value...
Toronto selected Ashton Bennett with their first supplemental draft pick today. Ashton is Jamaican but has Canadian residency. He would have been a 1st round pick had he not indicated he was...
When I look at our line there's a few things that I keep thinking.
1. We are way too slow to play a flat 4-4-2 with Frings and Caesar playing as box to box midfielders.
2. I still don't think...
He would be a great pickup for TFC. If they can get rid of Koevermans' contract he's fit in nicely.
I like the move. You're still going to get 1 of the 2 top CM's and a top CM/FWD. But the extra 100k or so (just speculating) can help make a real move for a solid starting MF.
I think they're allowed 1 buyout per year. I'd rather see them buy out Koevs than Eckersley. Koevs is going to miss a good chunk of the season and he's essentially the same player as Hassli so he's...
That makes a lot of sense really. It's a way of the older group to pass the torch to the next generation. Guys like DeRo have a lot of things to give to the younger guys even if they aren't going...
+1
We need help in the midfield. Farrell as a DM is a good move for the future, even if he ends up at CB where we have some depth now.
Then a wide player or an AM and we're in good position...
This is very good news for everyone. I wonder which team is showing the most interest. I don't think he's a candidate for TFC's spots but maybe Montreal or Vancouver
I thought a lot of bridges were burned when NASL peeled out of USL. Now a bunch of those teams are now in MLS, but still I wonder if it could be put back together again.
I think it's better for...
