He seems to be the only Canadian having a good season at D.C United.
Does anyone remember the last time TFC scored on a corner kick? For a team that is supposed to be hard to beat, and be well organized, corner kicks should be their bread and brother. These long...
U20 is harder than u17 for Canada IMHO. Pretty much none of our boys were getting first team football at that the u20 level. Other teams had players that were. u17 is more of a level playing ground...
By comparison Nova Scotia has:
one 11v11 full field indoor turf in Halifax
another smaller turf field at the same facility
one in the South Shore
one in the Valley
one in Stellarton
one in...
It blows the mind that Alberta doesn't have proper indoor pitches. Why is this the case? What has the ASA been doing over the last 15 years?
Tell me you're going to check out some of the spots where they shot the wire? (not on foot of course)
He used Canada as a stepping stone. He played for the U.S after he played for Canada. He's gone.
I don't disagree that our managers haven't been world class. However, look at our team, objectively, we don't have much talent. A manager can't run out on the field and score for us.
Karl Ouimette plays 90 solid minutes in the Impact's 1-0 win over RBNY.
Hope I get to write something similar about a young Whitecaps player this year.
I'm predicting 3-0 Japan. They're a really god team.
I'm willing to give Colin Miller the benefit of the doubt. I think the organization needed the shake up. Did he make a mistake in letting Hammy go? I'm not sure, he's brought in some solid veterns....
More news than that would have been ideal.
I couldnt fingure out why people were predicting Montreal to miss the playoffs at the start of the seaosn.
Can always cut players to make room for more talented ones.
U20's have shown us warm up games mean nothing if the coach gets it all wrong at the tounament itself.
I really like what TFC showed vs. Vancouver. They had a strong, organized spine. I haven't seen that in years. I'm hopeful for when our injured midfielders return. a 4-5-1 with Bekker, Julio Cesar...
THat's my point, the Caps younger players have nowhere to play. They should loan them out to FCE.
Lorb Bob, if young Canadian players like Teibert don't get any playing time and then (hypothetically) as a result don't improve due to lack of game action, how do they end up eventually playing for...
Montreal was great. I'm not sure why some predictions have them missing playoffs in the East this year.
Miller didn't change any opinions in game 1 of this year. TFC looked pretty organized. THey just need to add some spark.
Do you think it's possible that those 4 caps players get 0 minutes combined this year?
I agree. We beat a terrible Nic. team this time. That's it If this team was playing at the world cup level, rather than concacaf, it would be even worse.
Disappointed with Dasovic going with a 4-5-1 when we had the talent to try to dictate the game(s). I like him as a coach, but I think he got it wrong this tournament. Was also disappointed with some...
Look for the U.S to attack down Lapenna's wing.

It's disappointing that the CSA didn't send anyone. Very disappointing.
