However, it was announced Tuesday that his contract with Nîmes was not renewed. So I guess he is out of a club:

To add insult to injury, it would seem they didn't even bother to spell his name correctly...ouch.

Where does he go from here?

Stevenage release three and put three on the transfer list
Stevenage have released Andy Iro, Miguel Comminges and Bondz N'Gala and transfer-listed Anthony Grant, David Gray and Marcus Haber.

N'Gala had a spell at Barnet this season but still played 28 times, while fellow defender Comminges made 21 first-team appearances.

Iro was also loaned to Barnet and leaves without a senior Stevenage game to his name.

Grant, Gray and Haber have 12 months left on their contracts.

"Our income for last season was down 30% and this impacts on the maximum permitted budget we can allocate for players next season," chairman Steve Wallace told the club website.

"It's better for all that they move on to develop their careers. We've had some interest already so we'll see what will happen."

Striker Patrick Agyemang will also leave this summer after agreeing to join Portsmouth.

I thought it might be fun for people who are traveling to Seattle and Denver (or maybe in the future even for games in Canada or elsewhere) to add provincial flags to the march. The Saskies have had a provincial flag at many games recently, but I thought it might make a cool spectacle and also show the diversity of representation at these matches from around the country. If you are interested and wouldn't mind bringing a provincial flag to the games in Seattle and Denver, please post it in this thread. I might have to mug Lars to get his SK flag, but I will bring it (or a reasonable facsimile) to both Seattle and Denver.

I suppose other flags (from towns, cities, municipalities etc ... even soccer clubs) might be interesting to add to the mix, but for right now a good start would simply be flags from Provinces and Territories.

Flag Bearers for Seattle/Denver

Finch - NL
Rob - SK
Zeelaw - ON
Smiddy - BC
Madmonte - AB (Denver only)
Tarnado - AB (Seattle)
Califax - NS (Califax will provide the flag and someone else will fly it)

Since I've been following Canadian Football, we've had age groups that have attracted a lot of attention. Most of these have been odd years due to the timing of the international tournaments: '81s, '87s, 93s, etc. Though the class of '90 also was highly touted. Yet despite hearing nothing about most of the '92s, they look to be some of our most promising professional players at the moment:

Russell Teibert, Jonathan Osorio, Maxime Tissot, Karl Ouimette, Lucas Cavallini, Daniel Haber, Joseph DiChiara, Taj Sangara. Who else am I missing? I guess Allando Matheson and a few guys in NCAA who could be making a splash by this time next year.

Edit: ****, I spelt unheralded wrong. Mod please fix if you can.
