2-1 at HT. Argentina get on the board with a Korean o.g. (free kick swung in goes over the head of Argentine and deflects off the shin of Korean defender) and a Higuin header. S Korea get one back right before the half when Lee strips Demichelis (who was last man back and dicking around with the ball) and lobs it over the keeper.

Go Tigers! I am happy that the game is almost leveled. Koreans are applying pressure!

:( The goalie did not deserve that... he had a wonderful game.

BAH!

Oh, well, I knew this was going to happen. Personally I was glad to see that Korea didn't just sit back and try to settle for a 2-1 loss. They were always going to lose to Argentina, it's just too bad that this makes goal differential impossible to advance on for Korea. It's was always going to come to Korea beating Nigeria and Greece. Korea's strength is in the attack, I was a little nervous when it looked like they were going to let Argentina come at them in the first half, but if you take that OG away, it would've been tied at the half. I think this scoreline flatters Argentina a bit, not that i don't think they didn't deserve it, but I think a team with more firepower up front will crack Argentina's defense... it looks shaky. Korea usually plays such a strong possession game with short passes and quick little jabs at the net that it's difficult for them to score when a team like Argentina can match them in the mid-field.

Oh, if only we'd scored to tie it up on that glorious chance... if only...

Well, bring on Nigeria! I think Korea has a good chance against them.

Argentina started to kick ass and they're not even playing well yet....
