View Full Version : Gol TV has picked up the July 9th match

This is great news. I had given up hope on this match being televised.

According to Gol TV's online schedule they will be showing the crucial July 9 game between Vancouver and Toronto live.

Interesting. They're also airing a repeat of the first leg several hours earlier.

Massive Attack, is it safe to assume that you will cap this match, or should I put a request on fbtz.com?

Also of note, CBC is streaming the game on their website.

So it will most likely be like the Women's Olympic qualifying: ie it looks like a CBC broadcast even though its on Gol TV.

I will cap it for sure, no worries.

It may not be up until the next night because the game time does not fill well with my sleep and work schedule. [:p]

I was suprised when I saw a Gol TV produced broadcast. We should be thanking them even more for carrying this game. Its not cheap to produce a soccer game.

It looks like production was shared between Gol TV, CBC and the Team radio sports station. Whatever the case, job well done.

I thought some of the camera work etc was better than the other V-Cup games on CBC.
