I was thinking that at games voyageurs should group together and wear something common like the classic red toque. The Tartan Army have their quilts, many african nations wear the traditional dress to games so why don't the voyageurs wear a traditional red toque.

Heres an example of what i am thinking of..

Or we could look like these guys..

I would be soooo in!

Put a Voyageurs logo onto it to go with the scarves and that would be a hell of combo.

Could we add an embroidered patch to this voyageurs cap (http://jas-townsend.com/product_info.php?cPath=6&products_id=247) or one like it?

I like the toque, but I think it would be in poor taste for a bunch of hosers to show up to support Canada wearing toques made in the US of A.

I heard red toques go well with plastic beer cups

How about Red Toques and a functional wine skin as the official dress code?

A wine skin would be great. The only downside is that it would have to be snuck into the stadium.

If it's empty and being used as a prop then I think you can get it through the gate, then it's right to the beer garden. At least at BMO anyways, security's pretty lax unless as bus has just been destroyed I've snuck tons of booze and goodies in there.

I've heard that security at BMO is pretty good at working with fans. In Vancouver you'd probably have to go lock it in the car. It's a great idea though. So much more convenient than plastic cups. Put the cap back on and you don't have to worry about spillage.

Edit: Now that I think about it these things weren't exactly built to hold carbonated bevarages. I wonder how many Canadian goals it would take before one exploded. :D

I'm a Plumbers Apprentice let me work on the Carbonated beverages exploding threat, there has to be a PRV I can incorporate on the cap.

Really though what says I'm a Voyageur more than a Red toque and a wine skin? Cartier and Ives live on!!

I've been thinking the same thing for years... though I'd go with a dorky 70's style touque with a pom-pom on top. Bonus points if it says "Canada" in a font as bad as the old CSA logo!
