Just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat.
I bought 2 Gold tournament packages for Victoria thru TicketMaster when the tix first went on sale last year. Since then I have heard nada from the organizing committee as to when I might physically get my tickets. I've left phone and email messages with the local organizing committee asking when I might expect to get the tickets only to get no reply.
Anyone else buy tourny passes? If so, have you got your tix yet or heard when you might get your tix?
Thanks,

Hello Footie.
Great to see another Victorian posting on the board. While I was at the McPherson Box Office purchasing my tickets for the Edmonton games, the clerks were busy telling people on the phone that the tickets were all being mailed out. For the Edmonton game there was also the option for Will Call, but I'm not sure if that option is available for Victoria. The clerks did not have any information as to when the tickets were going to be mailed out.

Awesome. Thanks folks. Sounds like I should be expecting a package very soon.

I called ticketmaster last week and was told that they would be sent out in June. I ordered my package last summer so I became a little concerned when I saw posts here from people stating that they had received theirs.

just to close this up, I got this from the Victoria organizing committee today (May 18).
"Thank you for waiting patiently and for a long time for your ticket. They are in the process of being printed right now and will be sent out in the next week and half or so."

I just received my Toronto tickets May 23 and got my Edmonton tickets May 25. Strangely both came from Toronto and all of my Toronto tickets were together, while the Edmonton ones were sent in four separate envelopes - one for each game day I'm attending.
I'm just stoked they got here in plenty of time.
If all of the tickets are coming from Toronto (and I'm not saying they are, but if they are) I don't know why everyone wouldn't have been getting them at the same time.
cheers,
matthew

Eastern Ontario District Soccer Association had packages avaliable through Soccer NB. A $60 or $80 package for all 8 games in the South Stand. I bought and have recieved my tickets. Off to Ottawa, tickets in my suitcase so I don't forget them...... Experience.

Today's June 5. I bought two 7-game packages for the Victoria matches back at the end of December. To this day, other than getting an e-mail response from Ticketmaster and having the amount deducted from my credit card, I have heard zilch from anybody who has anything to do with soccer in Canada. No e-mail, no letter, nothing -- and certainly nothing that would encourage me to talk up the games and help build some momentum for them.
Given it's Canadian soccer and it's Victoria, I know not to expect a lot, but I better get my tickets by the end of next week or I'm not going to be so polite about it.

Found out today that I won't get my tickets for all the Edmonton matches until mid-June. Whay does it take so long? I'm really getting excited now.

I bought my 4 day passes months ago. To this date June 16, am still waiting for the stupid tickets. "Its gonna be huge" yeah right! what a huge let down.

I have received totally different responses from Ticketmaster each time I've tried to get my Burnaby package. Initially I was told to pick them up at a TM branch. They said they wouldn't be available until June. So I went yesterday and then I was told they were all going to be mailed because they're being printed on 'commemorative' paper stock.
When I called today I was first told that people had to get them at will call at the first game. When I pointed out that this would be an absolute nightmare if everyone was being told this she said she'd check to see if they still had time to mail me mine and they did. So supposedly they're in the mail.
I don't think they really have this figured out so I'd recommend that anyone who doesn't have theirs yet get in touch directly with TM.

I got my tickets and was quite surprised to see that there was only one ticket per day and not one per game and that there is a "No Reentry" stamped on each ticket. I clearly thought I was buying 7 game tickets, not 4 day passes with no in/out privileges. I did some digging and found out that this is a FIFA rule - once you are in you are in for the duration of both matches - no leaving between matches. Not a huge deal (other than being forced to eat and drink at the stadium concession because another rule states no outside beverages or food. Cha'ching I am sure) But was a bit disappointed this wasn't communicated up front. Anyone else caught by surprise on this or were you aware of the no in/out policy when you ordered your tickets?

Two days to go and I am still waiting for my tickets. It seems that organizers of the printing of tickets are leaving things until the last minute.

Finally I got my tickets today. According the date on them, they were issued 2 weeks ago, so why the delay of 2 weeks to give them out? Then there is a spelling error as it says 'no rentry' tsk tsk
