Ummm, Guivarc'h and Charbonnier won the World Cup in 1998.

Don't think that's quite what the original poster had in mind when he said the First World Cup Winner to play for Rangers, however incorrect the statement was. Guivarc'h was a World Cup Winner who played for Rangers. Charbonnier was a World Cup Winner who played for Rangers.

However, as you can obviously read minds.........[:o)]
