View Full Version : This forum needs a "jump to first unread post"...

With discussions lasting possibly months on and off, I don't want to go scrolling through threads trying to find where I left off [xx(] (as is the case here and with the Toronto Ultras boards). The Ultras Montreal, Impactsoccer.com, usldiscussions.com and Bigsoccer boards all have this crucial feature!

I am not sure if this is what you are getting at but what I think is needed is that the topic with the most recent post should be jumped ot moved to the top of the list with in the topics page.

That's what DOES happen.

What I mean is that when I log in, besides the purple folders (new posts), there should be an arrow that jumps you to the first new post since your last log-in...

I don't think this feature is available. Keep in mind that you guys run PHPbb that uses PHP as opposed to ASP. We can't run PHP. The whole new website is being developed in ASP. However maybe there will be add ons to the board later on.

Nevermind, I think I just added the "Jump to Last Post Link" if this is it, let me know.

It's a light blue arrow just next to the last posters name.

Not quite. It usually is before the thread title, or on top of the page once the thread is opened. It says "Go to first unread post". The change to this forum is actually detrimental for discussion continuity if this feature isn't in. At least with the old board you could visually see unread posts.
